Where you leave
Confirm the exit, stair flights and where loading is possible.

Milvus moves South Boston apartments and households, from walk-up buildings to managed condos. Get help with the transport, add packing for the rooms you choose and arrange storage when the dates do not overlap. Your inventory and building instructions give the quote its shape.
Your estimate depends on the items, access and services you need.
Prefer to talk? 857-895-8955Confirm the exit, stair flights and where loading is possible.
Check the receiving entrance, key collection and any building reservation.
Finalize the item list and discuss the packing or storage needed between those addresses.
The service should reflect the route through the property. Start by identifying the entrance, stairs or elevator that can actually be used.
Share the stair flights, exterior steps and largest furniture. If a rear entrance offers a different route, describe it and confirm it is available. An assumed shortcut through another property should not be the basis of the plan.
Obtain the moving instructions and elevator reservation process from management. Give Milvus the permitted hours and any requested documents for review. Include the loading location, which may differ from the street address residents use.
Choose whether you need help with the kitchen, fragile items or all rooms. Explain what will already be packed and how much remains. Keep supplies and packing labor visible in the estimate rather than treating them as an unspecified extra.

A walk-up pickup and an elevator delivery involve different constraints. Describe each address before choosing a crew; the bedroom count cannot explain both.
For stairs, give the floor, entrance steps and tight turns. For a managed property, obtain the approved loading entrance, moving hours and elevator reservation. Send any certificate-of-insurance requirements with the building contact.
Some times are fixed: a key handover, a building appointment or a deadline to clear the old home. Include those limits while Milvus prepares the moving plan.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Discount | $110/hr | $160/hr | $210/hr | $55/hr | $55/hr |

Discount, Regular, Subpeak, Peak and Highpeak are date categories. Ask which applies to your move. Minimum hours, billable travel, materials and additional services must be confirmed in your estimate.
Confirm the date category, crew and billable time for your job. Minimums, travel, packing and materials need to be explained in the estimate.
Extra stops and restricted loading hours can add work even to a move within the neighborhood. Provide those details while the quote is being prepared.
Set aside your personal essentials before packing the rest. Label boxes by destination room and keep the doorways clear as the load takes shape.
List beds, sofas, desks and dining furniture with any required disassembly. For a large piece, photos of both the furniture and its route out are useful.
If you need help packing the kitchen or protecting fragile items, include that request in the estimate. The contents and services should be clear before moving day, including items stored outside the apartment.
If the move needs reserved street space, use Boston's moving-truck parking instructions. Agree who handles the permit and signs, and check notices affecting your street on the moving date.
For private loading, obtain the property's approval. Keep a contact available if a gate, elevator or service entrance needs to be opened.
If the next home will be ready later, include storage in the plan before pickup. Keep the belongings needed during that interval outside the stored load.
A packed apartment still needs someone available to identify the shipment and approve the agreed work. At the destination, a receiving person should know where the large furniture belongs and which cartons go upstairs. Share their details if you will be traveling separately.
If the new property is not ready, discuss storage and redelivery early. A change in closing or renovation timing affects more than the date in the calendar. It can add another handling stage, so update the plan before the original appointment arrives.
Send the approved hours before booking so the pickup and delivery plan can be reviewed around them.
Provide that person's furniture and carton list, mark what stays and identify any additional address.
Confirm the packing labor, supplies and other services in your estimate; do not assume they are all included.
Describe the inventory and gap between homes so storage, handling and later delivery can be reviewed.
Provide the exact building address and its move-in instructions. The service needs to account for the approved loading entrance, elevator and receiving window. Availability and any requested documentation should be reviewed for the booking.
You can request a quote with the details you have. Be clear about which dates or addresses are provisional, and confirm the receiving arrangement before treating the move as booked.
Start with the date and addresses. We’ll work through the items, access and options with you.
