The next home
Identify the retained furniture and cartons by destination and receiving room. Keep excluded belongings apart.

Plan your Weston move around the home as well as its contents. Milvus helps with household moving, packing and agreed furniture preparation, starting with the vehicle approach, the larger pieces and the route into the next home.
Your estimate depends on the items, access and services you need.
Prefer to talk? 857-895-8955Describe the driveway width, overhead clearance and any gate or controlled entrance.
Show the proposed loading location and space available for maneuvering.
Include the distance to the door, steps, slopes and any separate entrance.
Share access arrangements and any restrictions from the owner or management.

A bed assembled inside a room or a table with removable parts needs a clear preparation plan. Show Milvus how the item is constructed and give dimensions and access photographs before the appointment.
Agree on dismantling and reassembly responsibilities. Keep fittings in an identified container with the corresponding furniture and explain any existing damage or unusual construction.
At the receiving home, check that the intended room and route are suitable for the piece. Furniture placement and access should be settled before taking components off at pickup.
| Contents | Information for assessment |
|---|---|
| Larger furniture | Dimensions, construction, condition and limiting doorways |
| Fragile household pieces | Materials, size and the packing support requested |
| Piano or unusually heavy item | Type, dimensions, stairs and receiving position |
| Loose furniture components | What detaches and who will prepare and reassemble it |
Confirm the accepted items and agreed handling scope before collection. A specialist task should be assessed separately from the ordinary carton count.
Milvus publishes five date categories for local moving. The table shows the hourly rate for a crew with a truck. Confirm the category for your date and the complete booking terms before accepting your estimate.
| Date category | 2 movers + truck | 3 movers + truck | 4 movers + truck |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discount | $110/hr | $160/hr | $210/hr |
| Regular | $120/hr | $170/hr | $220/hr |
| Subpeak | $150/hr | $200/hr | $250/hr |
| Peak | $180/hr | $230/hr | $280/hr |
| Highpeak | $260/hr | $360/hr | $460/hr |
Additional mover and additional truck rates are $55/hour each in the Discount category, $65/hour each in Regular, Subpeak and Peak, and $75/hour each in Highpeak. Ask which crew and vehicle arrangement fits your inventory.
The hourly rate is one part of the estimate. Confirm minimum billable time, travel, packing labor and materials, access-related work and any other applicable charges. A move is not booked by viewing these rates.
Choose the crew and truck with the actual inventory and access in view. Confirm the date category, minimum billable time and how travel is calculated from Milvus’s Waltham base.
Packing labor, materials, agreed furniture preparation, extra stops and applicable access-related charges belong in the full estimate. Compare quotes using the same load and responsibilities.
If the vehicle position, inventory or receiving address changes, update Milvus before the appointment so the scope can be reviewed.
