Basement, garage and stored belongings
Add the cartons, shelving and equipment that are part of the move. Describe heavy or unusual items and any preparation they require before transport.

An elevator reservation, a packed kitchen and a clear furniture list all belong in your Framingham moving plan. Share both addresses with Milvus and choose the packing help you need before the date is confirmed.
Your estimate depends on the items, access and services you need.
Prefer to talk? 857-895-8955Milvus publishes five date categories for local moving. The table shows the hourly rate for a crew with a truck. Confirm the category for your date and the complete booking terms before accepting your estimate.
| Date category | 2 movers + truck | 3 movers + truck | 4 movers + truck |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discount | $110/hr | $160/hr | $210/hr |
| Regular | $120/hr | $170/hr | $220/hr |
| Subpeak | $150/hr | $200/hr | $250/hr |
| Peak | $180/hr | $230/hr | $280/hr |
| Highpeak | $260/hr | $360/hr | $460/hr |
Additional mover and additional truck rates are $55/hour each in the Discount category, $65/hour each in Regular, Subpeak and Peak, and $75/hour each in Highpeak. Ask which crew and vehicle arrangement fits your inventory.
The hourly rate is one part of the estimate. Confirm minimum billable time, travel, packing labor and materials, access-related work and any other applicable charges. A move is not booked by viewing these rates.
Check how many movers and trucks are being quoted and which published date category applies. A lower rate for a different crew is not a like-for-like comparison.
Milvus is based in Waltham. Ask how the billable period starts and ends, how travel is handled and whether minimum time applies.
List packing, fragile items and furniture disassembly. Have labor, supplies and receiving-side assembly identified in the scope.
Provide floors, loading routes and every address. Ask how those details affect the estimate and how later inventory changes are handled.

Ask management which entrance and elevator the movers must use, the available moving hours and whether a loading appointment is required. Obtain any insurance-document instructions early enough to have them reviewed before the move.
An elevator reservation is only one part of access. Check the door opening, cabin dimensions and route from the loading area for larger furniture. Explain long corridors, tight turns or a separate service entrance.
At delivery, have an available recipient and decide where the larger pieces go. Keep the route clear of cartons until the furniture has reached the agreed rooms.
Framingham publishes restrictions on commercial-vehicle street parking overnight and on Sundays. If your move depends on street access at those times, check the current rules and the arrangement for your address with the city and Milvus before booking. Do not treat an ordinary parking space as a reserved loading area.
A private loading bay or driveway has its own practical limits and owner or management instructions. Show the available space, vehicle approach and walk to the entrance. Keep fire lanes and shared routes available.
Add the cartons, shelving and equipment that are part of the move. Describe heavy or unusual items and any preparation they require before transport.
List the floors and stair turns for beds, dressers, desks and larger upholstered pieces. Photograph difficult routes and identify disassembly needs in advance.
| Your preparation plan | What to tell Milvus |
|---|---|
| You pack ordinary cartons | Expected carton count and any items left for professional preparation |
| You want fragile-item help | The glass, mirrors, artwork or delicate furniture involved |
| You need room or household packing | Rooms, cupboards and approximate quantity still unpacked |
| Some belongings go into storage | Separate inventory, likely duration and access needs |
Keep documents, keys and personal essentials with you. Confirm labor and materials before booking, and update Milvus if the amount of packing or furniture changes.
Provide the receiving address, floors and available person. Coordinate the appointment with any building access window.
Discuss storage availability, conditions, handling and later delivery charges. Keep essentials separate from the stored inventory.
Request an interstate estimate for the full route and delivery arrangement. The local hourly table is not a total price for an out-of-state move.
