The main household
List furniture and cartons for the new home, including stored belongings that are part of the move. Keep the list separate from things left with the property.
Another receiving address
Identify the exact pieces for a family member or other recipient. Add their address, access and available receiving time before the appointment is quoted.
A stored group
Specify the furniture and cartons that need to wait. Discuss the expected duration and final destination, and keep personal essentials outside that group.
Things you are not moving
Mark those items clearly. Do not assume disposal, donation collection or another unlisted trip is included in household moving.

If a driveway is long or has a narrow entrance, show the approach and usable standing space. An address pin does not tell the crew which entrance is suitable or how far the belongings need to be carried.
Keep the groups recognizable
A destination label should survive the packing process
Use clear written destination and room labels on cartons. If you use colors as well, explain the system and keep the written label. Larger furniture should appear on the inventory for its destination, even when wrapping covers its original identifying features.
Keep groups distinguishable without blocking the hallway. The aim is to make the inventory easy to follow, not to build piles where furniture has to turn. Tell Milvus about the separate groups before loading is planned.
Give each recipient the relevant list and room instructions. If an extra stop changes or someone cannot receive their items, contact Milvus before the move so the route can be reviewed.

Additional mover and additional truck rates are $55/hour each in the Discount category, $65/hour each in Regular, Subpeak and Peak, and $75/hour each in Highpeak. Ask which crew and vehicle arrangement fits your inventory.
The hourly rate is one part of the estimate. Confirm minimum billable time, travel, packing labor and materials, access-related work and any other applicable charges. A move is not booked by viewing these rates.
Complete the service scope
Match the preparation to the route the items will take
Request packing for the actual belongings involved: glassware, artwork, mirrors, selected rooms or the household. Agree on labor and materials, and identify furniture that needs disassembly. Keep components and hardware with their item when you prepare them yourself.
For storage, ask about the conditions, access and billing period as well as collection and redelivery. An extra stop and a storage interval can change the service arrangement; they should appear in the plan before booking.
Milvus operates from Waltham. Confirm travel, minimum billable time and the full calculation for the Georgetown appointment. If any destination is outside Massachusetts, provide that address for the appropriate interstate estimate.
A straightforward direct move is welcome too. If everything goes from one home to another, send the two addresses, dates and inventory, then focus on the preparation and access needed at those properties.
