For furniture you have already taken apart, keep the hardware in a secure, identified bag and the components together. Do not place loose screws or brackets where they can scratch a finish or disappear into an unrelated carton.
Photograph the carrying route for larger components. Even after disassembly, a tabletop, headboard or cabinet panel may need room to turn through a door or stair landing.

The hourly rate is one part of the estimate. Confirm minimum billable time, travel, packing labor and materials, access-related work and any other applicable charges. A move is not booked by viewing these rates.
