The whole apartment
Add cartons, kitchen contents, closets and storage-area belongings. Describe packing still to be done, especially fragile or awkward items. An inventory is more useful than a bedroom count on its own.
Through the common entrance
Keep the building usable while the move takes place
A shared vestibule, stairway or front door may be the route for several households. Confirm the permitted moving entrance and keep that route clear while belongings are carried through it. Do not fill a common exit with cartons before the crew arrives.
Ask the landlord or manager about moving hours and any paperwork requirement. If access relies on a shared driveway or loading space, agree on when it can be used and who will move other vehicles.
Send photographs of the entrance, outside steps and interior turns with your inventory. For larger furniture, show the approaches from both sides so Milvus can discuss the work before the appointment.

Elevator availability
Include the usable lift dimensions, reservation window and corridor route. An elevator listed in the building description may not be available whenever a moving crew arrives.

Will a short distance make the move inexpensive?
Distance is only one factor. Inventory, stairs, carrying distance, packing, date and billing terms also affect the estimate.
Can boxes wait in the shared hallway?
Keep common exits and access routes clear. Prepare belongings inside your own space and discuss the moving entrance and schedule with the landlord or manager.
Do I need to tell Milvus about stairs at delivery too?
Yes. The receiving floor, landings, doorways and carrying route belong in the quote just as they do at pickup.
Can you help if my new lease starts later?
Discuss storage and a later delivery before booking. Confirm availability, charges and which belongings you will need to keep with you during the gap.
Is packing included in the hourly rate?
