The hourly rate is one part of the estimate. Confirm minimum billable time, travel, packing labor and materials, access-related work and any other applicable charges. A move is not booked by viewing these rates.

List furniture that requires disassembly and identify any assembly wanted at delivery. Keep instructions and hardware together with the correct item. If you are unsure what can be taken apart, send photographs while the quote is being prepared.
Show the stair landings and the openings at the top and bottom of the route. The dimensions of a large piece and the space available to turn it matter together. Include a low ceiling or a door that limits access.
Packing loose contents before moving day makes those preparation tasks easier to organize. Empty the furniture as instructed for your booking, keep the route clear and ask for help with any contents you want professionally packed.

You can ask for packing of specific belongings or more of the household. Describe fragile kitchenware, mirrors, electronics or other items needing preparation, and confirm labor and materials with the estimate.
If your move-out and move-in dates do not meet, discuss storage before pickup. Include the furniture volume, expected duration, handling, access and final delivery. Keep the items needed during the gap out of the storage load.
