A requested moving date is only the beginning. The useful details are when each property becomes available and how much preparation must be completed before the first piece leaves.
Confirm the access dates
Check the lease, closing or key-handover arrangements at both addresses. Tell Milvus which times are confirmed and which are still provisional.
Set the packing scope
Decide whether you will pack the household or request help with certain rooms and fragile pieces. Agree on the packing appointment before deciding how much can happen on moving day.
Prepare for collection
Include furniture disassembly, loading access and the rooms that must be emptied first. Identify any item that stays with the property so it is separate from the shipment.
Arrange receiving
Have access and room destinations ready for delivery. If the new property cannot receive the load, discuss storage and a later appointment before collection.

Milvus publishes five date categories for local moving. The table shows the hourly rate for a crew with a truck. Confirm the category for your date and the complete booking terms before accepting your estimate.

Additional mover and additional truck rates are $55/hour each in the Discount category, $65/hour each in Regular, Subpeak and Peak, and $75/hour each in Highpeak. Ask which crew and vehicle arrangement fits your inventory.
The hourly rate is one part of the estimate. Confirm minimum billable time, travel, packing labor and materials, access-related work and any other applicable charges. A move is not booked by viewing these rates.
A gap between addresses
Keep the storage arrangement specific

How early should I request a Braintree moving date?
